Africa Aerospace and Defence 2012

The ¼ scale model of the Ahrlac aircraft was commissioned for the center of the exhibit and flanked by its brothers and sisters (6 of the finest of the groups fleet) standing at attention. The vehicles in their “ready to ride” form gave a sense of the enormity and prowess of the group’s fleet.

Smart tablets at each vehicle and a 12 meter long L.E.D. screen demonstrated the technical abilities of the vehicles in video format to assist the marketing staff.

The signature Jetstream of the group’s logo is reimagined in the perimeter arch that frames this Amphitheatre of innovation in technology.

Elements of the exhibit are inspired by the Japanese art forms of origami and calligraphy as evident in the flowing form of the arch and the hand folded airplanes.
